The end of our third day and we have arrived in Winchester 129 miles later to be greeted by the Chief Constable with coffee and cake. It has been another fantastic day and we have had great support all along the way. Thanks to everyone at Sussex Police HQ in Lewes, Surrey in Guildford and then finally to Hampshire in Winchester for their welcome and presentations.
A special thank you for the the team from the Rugby Football Union who kept us company along the way today, a particular thank you to Harry Boyle who rode with us all the way from Maidstone to Winchester, having competed in a triathlon yesterday; 'Top Guy'.
Anyway, off too bed now, early start in the morning on our way to Dorchester and then Exeter. Cannot keep the Chief Constable Alex Marshall waiting he is riding with us on the first leg to Dorset!
